Registration Procedures for children in Pre-K and Kindergarten:

For Pre-Kindergarten, the child must be four years old by October 1st.

For Kindergarten, the child must be five years old by October 1st.

The child must be a resident of Prospect Park .
The parent(s) and child(ren) must be on the Certificate of Occupancy (CO). The Certificate of Occupancy is a proof of residency in Prospect Park . The Certificate of Occupancy may be obtained from the Municipal Building , located at 106 Brown Avenue . The Building Inspector's office is located on the 2 nd floor.
Health Records (Immunizations Records)
Original birth certificate with raised seal (Bureau of Vital Statistics)
Current rent receipt or mortgage bill or a recent property tax bill (select two)
Current utility bill (Public Service, cable, water or telephone bill) Select two.
Current driver's license and car registration
Latest report card
(IEP if applicable)

When you have obtained all these documents, call Mrs. Hubbard (973-790-7909 x1000) to schedule an appointment with the principal. You must bring the child (ren) to meet with the principal.
