Click to see this month's Breakfast and Lunch Menus The Prospect Park School Cafeteria uses a computerized system to manage the breakfast and lunch programs. Each child is assigned a PIN. Parents may make advance payments by sending money to their child's teacher or go to comalex.com and pay by credit card. Or the child can pay cash for his/her meals. When the child enters his/her PIN, the cafeteria cashier verifies the account by viewing the child's photo and meal status (Free, Reduced or Full Price) on the computer and charges the child accordingly. The PIN system is more confidential because the child's meal status is available to the cafeteria cashiers only. The PIN system also enables the cashiers to process the lines more quickly, allowing more time for the children to eat lunch. The charges for breakfast and lunch are: Meal Status Charge Meal Policy It is the policy of the district to allow all students to charge a meal when they have lost or forgotten their money. Parents can make advance payments by sending money to their child's teacher. Write your child's name, teacher, grade level and the amount enclosed and place in an envelope. Breakfast will be served each morning between 8:00 and 8:20 AM. When students finish eating, they will return to the playground to re-enter school with their class at 8:30 AM.
