PROSPECT PARK BOARD OF EDUCATION
PUBLIC NOTICE OF BOARD OF EDUCATION VACANCY
The Prospect Park Board of Education is accepting applications from qualified residents of the Borough of Prospect Park who are interested in serving as members of the Board of Education.
Two (2) vacancies presently exist on the Board of Education. Pursuant to applicable New Jersey law, including N.J.S.A. 18A:12-15, the remaining members of the Board intend to appoint qualified individuals to fill the vacancies and serve in accordance with the terms provided by law.
Applicants must satisfy all statutory qualifications for membership on a New Jersey Board of Education, including applicable residency and voter-registration requirements.
Interested individuals should submit the following:
- A completed Board Member Application;
- A letter of interest explaining the applicant's desire to serve on the Prospect Park Board of Education;
- A current résume;
- Current contact information; and
- A signed Certification of Eligibility confirming that the applicant satisfies the statutory
qualifications for Board membership.

Qualified applicants will be contacted regarding an interview before the Board of Education.
